Butter Cake


Baking Time:  35-40 minutes
Temperature:  180 degree centigrade
Preheat Time:  10-15 min


  1. Butter 150g/6 ounce/12 tablespoon 
  2. Plain flour:  12 tablespoon
  3. Castor Sugar(Powder):  12 tablespoon
  4. Eggs:  3
  5. Baking Powder:  1+1/2 teaspoon
  6. Vanilla Essence:  Few drops
  7. Dried Fruits (Raisins):  3 tablespoon
  8. Milk:  1/2 cup


  1. Lined pan with butter paper or any brown sheet then grease it.
  2. Mix butter and sugar until it form creamy and light mixture, use electric beater maximum speed.
  3. Sieve flour and baking powder. Mix dried fruits with little flour, keep aside.
  4. Add milk.
  5. Add one egg in butter mixture and 1 tbs flour mixture, then all eggs add like this with flour with slow beater speed. Add all remaing flour in butter mixture.
  6. Add Vanilla essence.
  7. Fold dried fruit with spoon.
  8. Add all batter in greased pan. Put pan in preheated oven.
